Portugal - Fatima to Lisbon

Our next stop was Alcobaca. How do we find these places when we are not on an organised tour??? We look out for the 'brown signs'! As in Australia, most countries have adopted a similar way of directing you to top attractions and sites of significance. My job as navigator is to spot them in enough time for Pete to quickly turn off without causing an accident! Once we find a park (not always easy) we set off on foot.
